PEAR PUREE

This easy-to-make pear puree is the ideal first food to introduce to your baby if you are looking for a flavourful fruit puree for your baby's next treat. It is nutritious, sweet, mild, and a great source of fibre, which helps the baby's digestive tract. Also rich in Vitamin C and antioxidants to help boost the immune system. You can choose to serve it plain or mix it with other purees to introduce your baby to a new flavour.

Ingredients

  1. 1 pear
  2. A pinch of cinnamon
  3. 1-2 cups water for steaming
  4. 1/3 cup sugar(optional)
  5. Breastmilk or formula (optional)

  1. Wash, peel, de-core the pear and cut into 1-inch chunks
  2. Place pear in the VENTRAY BabyGrow steamer basket, steam with water until tender
