Stage 2: At this stage, babies are ready for a highchair.

You will know that your baby is ready for chunkier, thicker foods when they are able to enjoy more varied food textures without spitting them out. Now is the time to try a variety of meat, fruits, and vegetables. You can start introducing protein at this stage. The following are some great starter foods: chicken, tofu and egg yolk.

Every baby is different. Listening to the needs of your little one is the most important rule to follow.

  1. A small pumpkin
  2. 1⁄2 tsp fresh thyme
  3. 1-2 cups water for steaming
  4. Chicken stock or breast milk/formula for blending



  1. Peel, de-saeed pumpkin, cut into 1-inch chunks, add pumpkin and thyme into VENTRAY BabyGrow steam basket
  2. Steam with lter water until tender and soft
  3. Transfer ingredients into VEN- TRAY BabyGrow blender jar, add in chicken stock or milk and blend until desired consistency is reached
