Chocolate Bundt Cake

The deep richness of this chocolate bundt cake is the perfect dessert or side to your morning coffee in this cold winter

  1. 2 sticks unsalted butter (room temperature)
  2. ¾ cup unsweetened cocoa powder
  3. 1 tsp salt
  4. ½ cup sour cream
  5. 4 large eggs
  6. 2½ cup all-purpose flour
  7. 1 tsp baking soda
  8. ½ cup milk
  9. 1½ cups sugar
  10. 1 tsp vanilla extract



  1. Whisk together all the dry ingredients, combine milk and sour cream, set aside.
  2. Turn Ventray stand mixer to medium speed, beat together butter, sugar for about 5 minutes until fluffy
  3. Add in eggs one at a time, beat well.
  4. Turn Ventray mixer to low speed, add in dry ingredients in batches, alternating with liquid ingredients
  5. Beat until just combined, do not over mix.
  6. Pour batter into Bundt pan

Oven Directions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F, butter and flour your Bundt cake pan
  2. Bake cake for about 45-55 minutes, test it with a toothpick
  3. Set aside and cool for 10-15 minutes, transfer wire rack to cool completely
