Holiday Shortbread Cookie (Blender Recipe)

Snap, and melt in your mouth warm shortbread in the shape of your favorite Christmas ornaments

Nothing says holiday quite like warm mouth-watering buttery shortbread cookies. Chritmas shapped cookie cutter, and sprinkling of sugar adds an extra fetive flair to these holiday must have cookies. And the best part, they are super easy to make from simple ingredients you can find around your house.

Ingredients

  1. 4 oz unsalted butter, melted
  2. 1 large egg
  3. ½ cup granulated sugar
  4. ½ cup all-purpose flour
  5. ½ cup whole wheat flour

Equipments

  1. Baking pan
  2. Baking sheet
  3. Cookie cutter

Directions

  1. Add egg, sugar, butter into Ventray Blender, gradually increase speed to 4, blend for 15 seconds or until mixture smooth and creamy
  2. Add flour to containter, use pulse setting, pulse for 15 times, while using temper to press the ingredients for evenly blending results
  3. Remove dough from container, wrap in plastic wrap place in fridge chill for 1 hour
  4. Preheat oven to 375F, remove dough from fridge, use cookie cutter cut into 4-5 cm cookies, place on baking sheet
  5. Bake for 8-10 minutes until cookies are set but not browned
  6. To serve, set the cookie aside and let it coolf or 20 minutes, sprinkle icing sugar on cookies, serve with milk or ice cream
